Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development

The Leibniz Institute for Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER), located in Dresden, is a regional scientific research institute of the Leibniz Association focussing on ecological issues of sustainable development. It was founded on 1 January 1992, is jointly funded by the federal government and the Free State of Saxony, and has over 100 employees.
